Terms of access

These terms govern access to the Novantra Labs, Inc. ordering portal and the supply of materials to accounts approved through it. They are between us and the organization holding the account, not the individuals who sign in to it.

1. Who may hold an account

Accounts are held by legal entities — universities, private laboratories, biotech companies and comparable institutions — established in the United States and able to receive deliveries at a business or institutional address. We do not open accounts for individuals, and we do not ship to residences, PO boxes, or parcel-forwarding services.

Every application is read and decided by a member of our team. There is no automated approval path, no scoring, and no self-service route that grants access to the catalog. We may decline an application without giving reasons, and may suspend an account at any time if the basis on which it was approved no longer holds.

2. Access to the catalog

No product information is publicly available. Prices, specifications and identifiers are visible only to users of an approved organization, and every such page is excluded from search indexing. You must not republish, redistribute, screenshot for publication, or otherwise disclose catalog information to anyone outside your organization.

Logins are personal. Do not share credentials. Tell us immediately at accounts@novantralabs.example if you believe a login has been compromised, or if a person leaves your organization.

3. Use of materials

Everything we supply is a laboratory reagent for scientific research by qualified personnel. Nothing we supply is a drug, food, cosmetic or medical device. Nothing we supply may be administered to humans or to animals, used in any clinical or diagnostic application, or resold or transferred outside the purchasing organization without our prior written authorisation.

We make no representation of fitness for any purpose beyond laboratory research use, and we publish no guidance on handling, preparation or application. If you need information of that kind, this is not the right supplier.

4. Attestation at checkout

Each order requires an attestation. The full text is displayed at checkout, and we record it verbatim together with a SHA-256 of exactly what you were shown, your identity, your organization’s identity, the timestamp and the network address the order came from. That record is immutable and is retained for 7 years.

The attestation text is version-controlled. It is never edited in place: a change means a new version, and every prior version is kept indefinitely so that an order placed years ago can still be read against the wording that applied to it.

5. Orders, pricing and despatch

Submitting an order is an offer, not a concluded contract. Every order is checked by a person before despatch, and we may decline or cancel one at our discretion. Prices shown in the portal are those current at the moment of ordering; freight and any applicable tax are confirmed by our accounts team before despatch.

Each order line is bound to a specific manufacturing lot. When an order ships we record the certificate of analysis current for that lot at that moment, so a shipment remains traceable to the exact document that described it. A certificate re-issued afterwards does not alter what was recorded against a completed shipment.

6. Geographic scope

The portal is available in the United States only. Requests from elsewhere are refused, and shipping addresses are independently validated as US states or territories at order submission. Attempting to reach the service through an intermediary that misrepresents your location, or shipping to a forwarding service, is a breach of these terms and grounds for closing the account.

7. Your data

How we handle personal information, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it are set out in our privacy policy.

8. Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes will be notified to the email address on the account. Continuing to order after a change takes effect indicates acceptance of it. The per-order attestation is governed separately, by the version in force on the day of the order.
